Katjinga is a Rhodesian Ridgeback breed dog, and Paulinchen is an absolutely lovely, bellied two-week-old young sow who ʟᴏsᴛ her mother but was thankfully adopted by Katjinga when she decided to adopt her.

The dog did not hesitate to take care of Paulinchen, treating her as one of her own; she fell in love with this adorable little pig at first sight and vowed to sᴀᴠᴇ her life.

Since Paulinchen was born, his early days have not been easy, don’t know what happened to his parents, but the piglet was found by Roland, the owner of a farm in Germany, ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ and very ᴡᴇᴀᴋ.

He decided to adopt the piglet in the hope that his dog could take care of him – and he was right. Katjinga is very loving and patient, not afraid to take care of him. Her maternal instincts are stronger and she welcomes him as if he were one of her puppies.

Paulinchen and Katjinga have curled up carefully, demonstrating that they are unconcerned with the difference in species; a very unique bond has formed between them.

The girl even nursed the pig. Adorable photos of this couple have gone viral on social media, capturing the attention of many people. One of them shows Paulinchen trying to sᴜᴄᴋʟᴇ from his massive new mother.

The two creatures share a massive 20-acre pasture in Hoerstel, Germany. Roland Adam, 54, and his wife Edit, 44, are Katjinga’s adoptive parents.

Roland is a real estate developer who discovered the tiny sow absolutely ᴡᴇᴀᴋ and trying to sᴜʀᴠɪᴠᴇ after the rest of her family ᴀʙᴀɴᴅᴏɴᴇᴅ her one night after her birth.

Roland stated: “Wild pigs roam our property, and a sow gave birth to a litter of five in our woodland. I discovered Paulinchen alone and she was quite chilly when I scooped her up.”

Katjinga raised the little child as her own. Roland continued: “I was convinced that some local foxes would have grabbed the pig that night, so I brought it home and handed it to Katjinga.

I had just finished with a litter that is now 10 months old, so I believed there was a chance I could take on the responsibility of caring for it. Katjinga is the most wonderful mother I could imagine.

She was smitten with the small swine. She started cleaning it right away, as if it were one of her own puppies. She started producing milk again a few days later to ʙʀᴇᴀsᴛꜰᴇᴇᴅ the sow. She clearly thought of her as her own child.”

This little pup is a great mom and has absolutely fallen in love with her little piggy. She cared that he wasn’t like her and knew that she had to help him. This mother’s dedication is incredible – she makes him feel protected, giving him so much love and affection.

Her maternal instincts made her accept the piglet and protect it. Both are cute!
